Hi, I’m Alasdair and I am here to provide you with entertainment for your event.
Based at the top of North Yorkshire I am easily able to cover everywhere in the north of England. I have done five summer seasons in Kavos, Corfu and have also done a number of contracts with Marella Cruises where I have reached around forty different countries. I am able to entertain all age groups and I aim to keep as many of your guests dancing as long as possible. Have a think about the last party you went to… two of the main things people will remember from your party are likely to be the food and the music – it isn’t uncommon to have four or five hours of entertainment at a party. It is important that this is remembered for the right reasons!
I am a mix and mic jock meaning I am able to concentrate on the music when that’s what is needed and use the microphone to really whip up the mood. I am also able to host parts of the evening and am able to also supply microphones for speeches if required.
I have a crystal clear sound system which is easily powerful enough for a couple of hundred guests and a fully DMXed lightshow with scanners, moving heads, washes, strobes and UV which is all computer controlled and digitally linked to the music. Larger systems are available on request if you need them.
By having fully controlled lights I am able to provide a rainbow of themed colours, for example if your table decorations, chair decorations and bridesmaids dresses were all blue then I can set up a blue themed lightshow for the early part of the night. Obviously I have an all-white program for your first dance (it needs to be mainly white for the photos and videos).
My setup is smart and presentable, looking great in the back of your wedding, birthday corporate event or other party.
